The Archdiocese of Cologne recognizes the importance of providing Catholics from other peoples and nations the possibility to live their faith in a familiar environment, to hear the proclamation of the gospel and receive the sacraments in a language they understand and to express their solidarity and charity with others.
The department of International Pastoral Care is headed by Auxiliary Bishop Dominikus Schwaderlapp. The goal of our Chaplaincy is to attend to the pastoral needs of our active, English-speaking community. In addition to Holy Mass on Sundays and feast days, children and young people have an opportunity to participate in our CCD program and prepare for the sacraments.
